Experiment with white balance.

 This is an example of what happens when you change the "white balance" setting on your camera. In this case, the "incandescent" setting for the second picture actually worked to provide a believable photograph, but usually your photos will look strange if the "white balance" isn't set correctly. These photos were taken late afternoon, almost evening. No post editing was done to either one of these photos.
